The purpose of this code is to provide certain minimum standards, provisions and requirements for safe and stable building design,methods of construction and uses of materials in building and/or structures hereafter erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, converted to other uses or demolished, to regulate the equipment, materials, use and occupancy of all buildings.  The provisions of this code supplement The Building Regulations Act 1971 and the Subsidiary Legislation made there under and form a condition of the approval of each and every building permit.
