Movement certificate required for the movement of plants, plant products or other regulated articles from the Port of Nassau or Grand Bahama to another designated port of entry within the country.

- Make an application in person to BAHFSA’s office or electronically.
- Provide relevant documents
- Pay the prescribed fee.
- Make the consignments available for inspection.
- Inspector applies phyto-sanitary measures of importing country.
- Phyto-sanitary certificate is issued/sent to the NPPO of the importing country.

Provided all required supplementary documents are received, process is completed within 30 days. BAHFSA requests complete application form along with supporting documents within 15 days from initial consultation with client. Once application form with attendant relevant documents are received, process is completed within 30-45 days.Phyto-sanitary certificate fees: $50 non-refundable; Movement certificate: $10.00
