To obtain a permit to burn in the Forest Estate.
*This service requires consultation from the Department of Environmental Health Services, Water and Sewerage Corporation and the Royal Bahamas Police Force.
An approved Burn Plan is required.
- Collect application form from the Forestry Unit or download form from application section
- Complete application form
- Consult Forestry Unit to assist in the preparation of the prescribed burn plan and get burn plan approved
- Pay application and permit fees to Accounts Department in the Ministry of the Environment and Housing
- Collect permit from Forestry Unit
