The purpose of the Government Summer Employment Programme is to provide skills training and employment opportunities to the youth
This summer programme is open to Bahamians citizens between 15 – 25 years of age.
Participants who are accepted on the programme will be assigned to a reputable organization where they will be required to work up to four (4) weeks. The programme is conducted in two (2) modules, usually in the months of July and August. An evaluation of the applicant will be completed by the supervisor of the organization
Application forms are available at the Ministry for Grand Bahama, Freeport, G.B.
- High school students must attach copies of BJC and BGCSE Certificates to the application.
- College students must attach a copy of their most recent college transcript or Student ID.
- Proof of Bahamian citizenship (Passport or Birth certificate and National Insurance card.
