  • The Department of Housing provides affordable housing to low and middle income families.

  • The Department of Housing provides affordable housing to low and middle income families and senior citizens in New Providence and the Family Islands through the Government Guaranteed Mortgage Loan Programme.

  • The Department's major thrust at this time is the continued development of Millennium Gardens: a state of the art housing develop-ment in which will be locat-ed passive parks, Nazareth House, a safe home for children who have been hurt or abused; and an inter-generational centre.
